Introduction

Students who began programs delivered by BYU-Pathway on or before September 2024 are moving from an old to a new BYU-Pathway Portal starting on or shortly after November 18, 2024. Below are some helpful screenshots and videos that help illustrate important steps on the new portal. For more information see:

Sign-In

In the old portal, students simply used their Church Account to sign-in. In the new portal, students must add a new step before they use their Church Account. This new step involves using a new username to approach the correct Microsoft Tenant. (?)

A tenant is an organization’s dedicated cloud environment. Inside that environment, the organization can manage its users, services, and settings. Think of a tenant like a field surrounded by a fence in the countryside. To tell your internet browser which field to approach, you must use your username. Once you have approached the correct field (tenant), you can then use your Church Account to get in.
