Another part of formatting you’ll need to include in your essay is a title. Your title should clearly explain what your essay is about. It should also be placed just beneath your heading, but before the first paragraph of your essay (in between the two). It should also be centered on the page and not have any bolding, underlining, or italicizing.

The title should use title case. This means capitalizing the major words in your title. Capitalize nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and the first and last words. Keep short connecting words (like, and, of, in, to) lowercase unless they start or end the title.

This is an image on how to properly format the title of your paper. The title should be in the middle of the page. Step 1: Click on Home. Step 2: Click on 'center alignment' icon. The title will be ready to type in the centre of the page.
